When Life Tells You to Pause
Share
Hi Friends,
Can you believe August is already halfway gone? It feels like I was just in San Francisco enjoying music, chocolate, and sunshine. I hope you’re finding ways to savor these last golden weeks of summer and stay cool as we slowly turn toward fall.
Not long after I returned home, I came down with something and ended up spending most of the week curled up on the couch with Olive, sipping tea and resting. I haven’t been that sick in a long time, and while it wasn’t exactly the homecoming I had planned, it reminded me of something important: sometimes life forces us to pause when we won’t choose it ourselves.
Before vacation, I was running full steam ahead - juggling projects, deadlines, and exciting plans for new launches. I was so eager to dive right back in when I returned. But instead, everything had to wait. That pause, though uncomfortable at first, gave me space to shift perspective, reimagine a few things, and allow new ideas to surface that I might have missed otherwise.
So this week, I want to offer you a gentle reminder: take a pause. Let the to-do list sit for a little while. Give your ideas and plans room to simmer. You never know what fresh perspective might emerge in the quiet moments.
Speaking of new ideas… I’m thrilled to share two brand-new creations arriving just in time for the start of fall:
🍂 Nourishing Body Butters – My new nightly ritual. This rich, creamy blend leaves skin soft and deeply hydrated; perfect for cooler months when dryness sneaks in.
🍂 Perfume & Room Sprays – A simple way to carry your favorite fall fragrance through your day. Wear it on your skin or spritz it onto linens for a soft, cozy atmosphere.
Both were crafted with the intention of slowing down, savoring the season, and inviting small rituals of comfort into daily life.
And if you haven’t yet, don’t forget to download your Fall Fragrance Mood Guide and Pumpkin Patch painting - a sweet little way to welcome autumn and discover your signature scent for the season.
I’m wishing you a calm, nourishing week ahead. Thank you for being here - I can’t wait to share this new season with you.
With warmth,
Megan
