This Season Feels like a new Beginning

This Season Feels like a new Beginning

Hi friends,

There’s something about the start of spring that always feels like a fresh breath of energy. I find myself wanting to clear out the clutter, open the windows, and bring a little more light into my space.

This weekend, I leaned into that feeling; cleaning, rearranging, and adding a few new touches of décor to freshen things up. The weather was kind enough to let me open the windows, and with a candle softly burning, my home felt completely renewed. It’s amazing how the simplest things can shift the entire mood of a space.

While I was tidying up my little studio, it hit me… it’s almost been one full year of Megan Yuly Art & Apothecary!

I can hardly believe how quickly this past year has gone by. I’ve been so deeply touched by the support you’ve all shown; whether it’s reading this newsletter each week, sharing kind words, or simply being here. Hearing how Monday Musings has brought a little calm or comfort into your week truly means more to me than I can express.

When I started this journey, my goal was simple: to create a small, intentional world where we can romanticize our lives and make self-care a priority. Because the truth is, we can’t fully show up for everything and everyone else if we’re constantly running on empty.

It’s so easy to get swept up in the busyness of life and put ourselves last. I wanted to create a space that feels slow, thoughtful, and grounding, a place where you can pause, take a deep breath, and enjoy the little moments. My apothecary is meant to be just that, somewhere you can be yourself, take up space, and savor the quiet rituals of everyday life.

Soap was where it all began. I’ve always loved finding handmade bars at markets or while traveling; little luxuries that feel special and nourishing, especially for sensitive skin. Over time, those small moments turned into one of my favorite self-care rituals: a nightly shower to unwind and reset before bed.

So one day, I decided to take a soap-making class… and I was completely hooked.

From there, it just felt natural to combine two things I love, creating with my hands and making art, and that’s how Megan Yuly Art & Apothecary came to life.

As we get closer to April, I’m so excited to celebrate this one-year milestone with you. I have some fun things planned; special sales, bundles, giveaways, and maybe even a brand new product.

Stay tuned… I can’t wait to share it all with you.

I hope you have a soft and beautiful week ahead,
Megan
