The Quiet Beauty Between Seasons
Share
Hi Friends,
I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween full of fun, candy, and just the right amount of spooky. It was a rainy one here, so I spent the evening cozied up inside, watching the storm roll through. I hope you also enjoyed that extra hour this weekend; a small gift of time to slow down.
The first half of November always feels like a deep breath. Pumpkins still sit on porches, the air is crisp, and the world hasn’t yet hurried into the holiday rush. It’s that lovely in-between space; a moment to rest, refresh, and savor what remains of fall.
Over the weekend, I took a trip to the Washington coast, and it was exactly what I needed. Sunny skies, cool breezes, and the soothing rhythm of the ocean. A perfect reminder that peace doesn’t have to be complicated, sometimes it’s just the sound of waves and a quiet moment to yourself.
It’s so easy to rush from Halloween straight into Christmas, but there’s real beauty in slowing down and noticing the small things like the last leaves falling, the cozy light in the late afternoon, or the scent of your favorite soap in a warm shower.
I know how busy the next few weeks can get so I wanted to create something special to help us hold onto that calm.
✨ Introducing the 12 Days of Calm Challenge ✨
From December 1st to December 12th, I’ll be sending you a short, gentle email each morning. A little reminder to pause and take a moment for yourself. Each day will include a simple, calming practice or reflection to bring more peace and presence into your holiday season.
To make it even more fun, if you reply to each email sharing your small moment of calm, you’ll be entered to win a holiday gift box from me filled with art and apothecary treats made to bring you joy and relaxation.
And stay tuned — my holiday collection officially launches on Black Friday, full of peppermint, pine, and the cozy scents of Christmas morning.
Wishing you a peaceful and restorative start to November,
Megan
