Hi Friends,
It’s officially fall! 🍂 Here in Washington, the season has made its arrival with rain and a chilly breeze. I spent the weekend soaking up the cozy vibes and I hope wherever you are, you’re starting to feel the crisp shift of the season too.
I also decorated my home for fall. Pumpkins on the shelves, dried flowers tucked into vases, and art I created in years past. Looking at those older paintings always amazes me. A single year holds so much growth, both in my art and in myself. Just last fall, this newsletter and Etsy shop were only a dream. Now, every week I get to write to you, and many of you are enjoying my soaps and art in your homes. I’m endlessly grateful for this little community we’ve built together.
This change of season feels like a good time to pause and reflect. We’re often caught up in what’s next, moving from one to-do list to another, but rarely stop to celebrate how far we’ve already come. So here’s a gentle challenge for you: take a few moments today to reflect on everything you’ve accomplished this year- big or small- and allow yourself to feel proud.
To help welcome the season, I wanted to share a few of my favorite cozy fall rituals:
✨ Lighting candles and string lights as the days grow shorter - instant peaceful vibes.
✨ Pulling out my softest blankets, cuddling with Olive, and rewatching comfort movies (The Nightmare Before Christmas is my annual go-to). What’s yours?
✨ Using my fall soaps in the evening. Right now I’m obsessed with Cemetery Mist; paired with the matching body butter, my skin feels soft, nourished, and perfectly pampered.
I’d love to hear what rituals you’re leaning into this fall. Do you share any of mine, or have your own favorites?
