Finding Comfort in the Cozy Glow

Finding Comfort in the Cozy Glow

Hi Friends,

Happy Monday! I hope you had a lovely weekend and are soaking up the shift into colder weather. We had a gray, rainy weekend here, complete with a little thunder and lightning. I know some people find storms gloomy, but I love them. There’s something so comforting about being inside, listening to the rain, and feeling wrapped in that cozy stillness.

Whenever a storm starts to roll in, I make myself a cup of tea, turn on a few soft lights, light some candles, and curl up with Olive to watch a cozy fall movie. There’s a certain magic in the way candlelight fills a space; that warm, golden glow instantly helps my mind slow down and ease into the evening.

It’s one of the reasons I love this time of year so much. Stormy nights spent at home, surrounded by gentle light, always make me feel calm and grounded. On stressful days or when I’m feeling run down, I’ll dim the lights and light a candle or two. It’s such a simple ritual, but it never fails to make me feel more like myself again.

I even love bringing that same cozy glow into my self-care routines. A candlelit shower or bath feels like a little escape. Pair it with your favorite fall soap or scent, and suddenly something as ordinary as getting ready for bed feels like a small act of comfort and luxury. It’s amazing what a bit of warm light and fragrance can do for your mood.

What brings you that cozy feeling? Maybe it’s a candle, a walk in the crisp air, or your favorite blanket. Whatever it is, let it be your little ritual this week; a reminder to slow down and enjoy the calm moments.
If you’re looking for the perfect scent to go with your fall routines, my Fall Collection is still available but only for a short while longer! I have just a few bars of soap left, and once they’re gone, they won’t return until next year.

And to my Canadian friends - Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your day is full of warmth, gratitude, and cozy moments.

Wishing you a cozy and restorative week,
Megan
