Finding a Little Romance in the Heart of Winter

Finding a Little Romance in the Heart of Winter

Hi Friends,

Every year around this time, winter really starts to wear on me. The cold feels heavier, the days feel darker, and I notice how much more tired I am. I don’t know about you, but I’m already dreaming of spring, longer days, warmer light, and that feeling of coming back to life again.

What helps me get through these last couple of winter months is looking for the romance in the everyday.

Romance doesn’t have to be grand or dramatic. Sometimes it’s as simple as lingering over my morning coffee instead of rushing through it, taking a slightly longer shower, or sitting quietly with a good book while the world slows down. Those small moments of intention have a way of softening the long nights and reminding me to be present.

Another way I find romance in the everyday is by practicing self-love.

So often, we pour our energy into caring for everyone else, our families, our work, our responsibilities, and forget that we deserve the same tenderness. Self-love can look like listening to your body when it needs rest, setting gentle boundaries, or treating yourself with the same kindness you’d offer a dear friend. It’s not selfish; it’s sustaining. Especially in winter, when everything feels a little heavier, those small acts of care can make a big difference.

That’s one of the reasons I’m so excited about my Valentine’s Day collection launching on February 9th. And since you’re an email subscriber, you get to hear the theme first…

Phantom of the Opera.

This collection is all about dark romance, mystery, and intrigue. It’s very floral-forward, but even if florals aren’t usually your thing, I truly think you’ll find a scent you love. I’m also releasing a couple of brand-new products this year, which I can’t wait to share more about soon.

I hope this email serves as a gentle reminder to show yourself a little extra love this week, whatever that looks like for you.

With love,
Megan
