A Soft Pause for Christmas Week
Share
Hi Friends,
It’s Christmas week. I spent today wrapping gifts and gathering a few last-minute ideas. I love wrapping gifts and making things feel pretty and magical.
Yesterday was also the Winter Solstice, the darkest day of the year. It’s always a grounding reminder for me that even when things feel heavy or full, the light is already beginning to return. Longer days are coming, little by little.
If you’re like me, you might already be looking forward to the stillness on the other side of the holidays. Fewer plans. Fewer expectations. Fewer decisions. Please know there is nothing wrong with feeling ready for slower days. Winter invites rest and quiet, even when the busyness of the season pulls us in the opposite direction.
As you move through this week, I hope your Christmas or holiday season includes moments of connection, with loved ones, and with yourself. Small pauses. Deep breaths. Gentle moments that feel calm and grounding. We’re nearing the end of the year, and these last few days don’t need to be rushed.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,
Megan
